Hey, I'm Taylor! The owner of Simply Sky Studios. I'm so glad you're here!

The brand is named after my cat, Sky (AKA Cutie Patootie & Sweetie Pie Sky). She’s sweet, but she has a habit of showing up exactly where she isn't supposed to be, which is usually right in the middle of whatever I’m working on. The name came first, and the rest of the brand just grew out of that.

Most of the time Sky is very calm. She spends her days napping, watching birds out the window, or sitting right on top of the keyboard or notebook I'm trying to use. But then, out of nowhere, she’ll just sprint full speed through the house. I like to call her my crack head kitty when she does that.

The studio runs on pretty much that same rhythm. It’s quiet and minimal by default, with the occasional random left turn. That definitely shows up in the work, too. Most of what I make is soft and clean, but every now and then I like to put out something with a little more energy just to mix things up.

what we make

Stationery, apparel, keychains, and stickers. We would rather put out a few things we stand behind than fill shelves.
